PLANNING YOUR WEB SITE
The most important thing to consider is what you want your website to accomplish.
There are many reasons for having a web site. If you could name the most important thing you want to accomplish with your web site, what would that be?
• Will it be informational?
• Will it drive business to your door?
• Will it be a forum to discuss a topic, like a blog?
• Will it function as an online store with customers buying online?
• Brainstorm and make notes, who is your audience?.
• Create an outline of your needs with the most essential elements at the top.
• Organize this information in folders so that you can add things as needed to your overall plan.
• Make a folder with digitized photos and images, company logo, written materials, other sites, etc.
• Look for other web sites in your industry to see how they handled the information and graphics. This way you will be prepared with a better understanding of what your competition is doing as well as to help you brainstorm for your own site.
• What do you like of them, colors? images? not to many images/minimalist.

If you have an existing web site, simply give us your web address and we can get your logo from there. Sometimes the logo from your old site is not clear enough and we might ask you for one with better resolution from Illustrator or PhotoShop.
Navigation layout or site map:
This is the most critical information that we need from you in order to get started as soon as possible.
Please draw a diagram of your required navigation, number of pages, number of photos or illustrations, and the approximate location of everything, make your handwriting is legible as possible. Once completed, fax or attach it in an e-mail the diagram to us along with the questions above about your business and expectations.

Note: The total number of web pages is very important. There is a big difference between having 5 pages, and 10 pages quoted.
We need your present site hosting information / FTP Information
Note: Your Hosting User Name/Password as well as FTP User Name/Password are very easy to obtain by contacting your IP hosting company. If our customers provide us with inaccurate information it is extremely time consuming and causes many delays. Therefore, if our customers provide us with inaccurate hosting/FTP information we must add an additional charge of $25.00 to the project that will be billed to the final account. We encourage our customers to take a moment to thoroughly confirm this information with their IP or hosting company prior to submitting the information to us. If you do not yet have this information, please leave this area blank. You may provide it to us later after you have confirmed the information or we can suggest some of our favorite reliable web host providers.

How does the maintenance service works?
If you need a modification on your old website, all you have to do is to send us an e-mail with the changes, files and FTP information from your Internet Provider.
We'll make the changes for you and then you'll receive a bill based on an affordable hourly rate of $75.00 for the work we did.
We can bill you or you can also pay the bill and the first deposit using GoogleCart.
Terms and conditions for all work:
Website design and development costs are determined by your choice of packages.
• A deposit of 1/3 of the selected package must be received before website design and production begins.
• After first mock up for your site, a 1/3 of the fees will be paid and when the job is finished and you are satisfied, the last payment will be charged.
What does it cost?
Due to our low overhead, DaMetz Design Studio is able to ask for reasonable fees for a professional level of service and expertise.
If a project takes 15 minutes or less then the cost would be $20; between 15-30 minutes would cost $40; 30-45 minutes = $55, and a full hour $75. In order to get started we do require a 1/3 payment up front, at the moment we use GoogleCart, this payment is fully refundable before or at the end of the Design Section before we start Production of the actual site if you are not satisfied with our ability to design your web site. At the end of the Design Section, you are required to approve your web site design (mockup) so that we may proceed with building the rest of your site at the Production Section.
