Hours based on assessment scheduleAssessment testing is used by the College to place students in classes in which they are most likely to succeed. Students planning to enroll in English and math classes should take the appropriate assessment exam.
Appointments are available in the Admissions Office on a first-come first-served basis.Call 536-7379 to reschedule an appointment.
Recommended English Classes
Before enrolling in classes at Miramar College, you should take an English placement test because your skills in reading and writing affect how you do in ALL your classes.

**SDSU accepts either 101 or 105; most UCSD colleges accept 101 and either 105 or 205; USD requires 105.
English 51 and 56 may be taken at the same time.
If you do not take them at the same time, the English Department recommends taking English 56 first.
