Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities (CEO) The C.E.O. course is designed to teach students everything they will need to start and maintain their own small business. The C.E.O. also helps students to achieve financial independence, personal satisfaction and the basic concepts of a small business structure. In the C.E.O. program, students talk about their goals for the future and how to make them into a reality. Students learn and practice skills that will help them to be successful entrepreneurs. |

| What activities will we do? C.E.O is an activity driven program to awaken in the student an awareness of the planning and creation of a small business. C.E.O. activities are implemented in two ways: in class activities and field trips to different types of businesses. The program will show students the diversity of America’s industry and how to increase their awareness of many career opportunities in the community. How will I benefit? We believe that by participating in the C.E.O. program, many students will start their own business'; at least 14% of these will maintain those business' acting as role models and generating economic benefits in their communities. Even for those who do not start their own business' the C.E.O. program increases their confidence and employability. Do I need any experience? No, because of the flexibility of the C.E.O. program is adaptable to students with no knowledge of the business world, as well as to those who are already familiar with some of the basics. How do I join? Call Tommy @ the oldepicentre (858) 271-4000 or come by the oldepicentre and fill out a registration packet. Then you are all set to go. Classes are constantly forming. Monday to Friday schedules, call the oldepicentre for the best time for you. |
