The Mission:
to prepare teens for the 21st century by developing their entrepreneurial skills and interests in owning their own business.

Programs
oldepicentre provides Entrepreneurship training for schools and community based organizations throughout San Diego County. oldepicentre's CEO program uses a curriculum developed by the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
Classes include fieldtrips to successful businesses and interactive training sessions on basic business concepts including:
Business goal setting, business proposal writing, budget, small business planning, financing small business and more.
Each student prepares a business plan and competes for start-up capital funding, works at oldepicentre or volunteers for a community organization.

Results
• Since opening in March of 2000, many young entrepreneurs have participated in business training.
• Teens have started their own businesses.
• Students are enrolling in CEO for the program’s second year.


Supporters
oldepicentre’s Entrepreneurship training programs are supported by grants and donations from the County of San Diego Title V program, San Diego Community Foundation including the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship, and Union Bank.

The Entrepreneurship Training Program is currently seeking donations of the following:
Bus or Large Passenger Van
Sponsorship for Low Income Students
Funding for General Program Costs
Computer Equipment
Scholarships
